Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient installation processes.
  • Apprenticeship Training: Oversee apprenticeship training to develop the skills of junior team members.
  • Staffing: Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions to maintain a skilled team.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up machines and equipment to ensure smooth installation processes.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials to ensure budget compliance.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Personnel Recommendations: Recommend personnel actions to maintain a skilled and efficient team.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Material Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Work Term and Hours: Work on a permanent basis with a standard 40-hour workweek.
