Job Title: Landscape Architectural Technologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architectural Technologist to join our team in Edmonton. As a key member of our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Landscape Architects to prepare conceptual designs and assist throughout design development and construction documentation
  • Collaborate with other disciplines including planning, architectural and engineering technologists
  • Ensure project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements
  • Prepare construction detail drawings using CAD
  • Complete quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates
  • Assist with preparation of specifications and technical reports
  • Meet project deadlines

Requirements:

  • Diploma from a recognized institution within the field of Landscape Architecture
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with contract administration (construction monitoring and inspections, etc.)
  • Proficiency in latest version of AutoCAD
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
