Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at FreshCo. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, counseling, and education to patients and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care, customer service, and workflow efficiencies
- Counsel and educate patients on new therapies, tailoring to their needs and concerns
- Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation
- Participate in professional programs and collaborate with colleagues to provide excellence in health & wellness services
- Ensure prescription safety and prioritize technical functions to Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as required
- Thoroughly understand all relevant corporate pharmacy service offerings/programs and provide each customer/patient with the program that meets their health care needs
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends/developments
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, in the province of responsibility
- Injection and First Aid Certification
- Kroll software experience is preferred
