East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division is seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented individual to fill the position of a full-time Educational Assistant at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta.

This is a permanent position that will start as soon as a suitable candidate is found. The successful candidate will be required to work in a collaborative environment with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff.

The position is subject to the ECCS-CUPE Support Staff Collective Agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide educational support to students in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Support students with special needs
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (an asset)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
