AECOM is actively seeking an experienced Graduate Fluvial Geomorphologist to join our team in Canada. The successful applicant will be an integral part of our Fluvial Geomorphology practice area, working on various stream restoration projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions to technical problems using scientific principles and existing technologies.
  • Collect and enter data, applying technical principles and theories.
  • Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, and compare findings to relevant studies and regulations.
  • Support or lead 'Natural Channel Design' and stream restoration projects, completing assessments on existing and proposed conditions.
  • Conduct detailed field investigations and assessments, including sediment transport and scour analysis.
  • Technical report writing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant Scientific or Engineering disciplines (e.g., Geomorphology, River Engineering, Earth Science).
  • Master's level degree in fluvial geomorphology is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Natural Channel Design approaches and GIS software.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage personal project workload and meet deadlines.
