Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
  • Restock supplies and linens as needed.
  • Assist with laundry services, including sorting, washing, and folding linens.
  • Participate in infection control and prevention initiatives.
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping experience working in a hospital setting.
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Knowledge and/or certification in WHMIS.
