About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of inventory across our distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily cycle counts, slot audits, and reconciliation of activities between systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and reports.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce inventory costs.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in inventory control and warehousing industry.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to prioritize workload.
- Computer applications experience using MS Office.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
