Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Child Care Live-In Caregiver to join our private household team. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional care and supervision to our children, including meal preparation, homework assistance, and emotional support
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to our household's scent-free and non-smoking policies
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the home remains tidy and organized
- Shop for food and household supplies, using your discretion to make responsible purchasing decisions
- Travel with our family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by their parents, while also promoting positive social development and personal hygiene
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, ensuring our household's records are up-to-date and accurate
- Organize activities, such as games and outings, to promote the children's physical and emotional well-being
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences
- Supervise and care for our children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, using your own vehicle or public transportation as needed
- Tend to the emotional well-being of our children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment

Requirements

- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in child care or a related field
- Completion of an Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR course, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
