We are seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join our team at Canada Inc.
About the Role:
- This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 35-40 hours per week, offering a permanent work arrangement.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating and driving company vehicles to deliver goods and products across various locations.
- A valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles) is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items and products efficiently.
- Maintain professionalism in customer service, ensuring timely and satisfactory delivery of goods.
- Receive and relay information accurately to central dispatch, utilizing maps and other trip planning aids as needed.
- Load and unload goods safely, adhering to weight handling limits of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during trips.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the overall condition of company vehicles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and efficient interpersonal skills
Benefits:
- Permanent work arrangement with a minimum of 35-40 hours per week
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience
