Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at AIM Kenny U-Pull. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a team, and ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered while meeting corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promoting a Welcoming and Safe Workplace: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and well-being.
- Applying Environmental and Health & Safety Rules and Procedures: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Assisting the Branch Manager with Monthly Health & Safety Audits: Collaborate with the Branch Manager to conduct regular audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervising Daily Operations: Oversee scheduling, sales, and production targets to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Supporting Employees: Participate in daily tasks and operational initiatives to support employee development and engagement.
- Assisting the Branch Manager in Employee Communications: Collaborate with the Branch Manager to communicate with employees and ensure effective communication channels are in place.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Three (3) Years' Experience in Customer Service: Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service in a retail or automotive sales environment.
- Minimum of One (1) Year Experience in a Management Role: Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
- College or University Diploma: Relevant education and training in a field such as business, management, or a related field.
- Experience in Retail or Automotive Sales is an Asset: Previous experience in retail or automotive sales is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to Empower Employees: Proven ability to empower employees to take ownership of their work and make decisions.
- Ability to Delegate Tasks and Follow Up: Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and follow up with employees to ensure tasks are completed.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborative and Team-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Good Time Management and Prioritization Skills: Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to Demonstrate Empathy: Proven ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards employees and customers.
