Always Roofing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Apprentice Roofer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our experienced roofers in installing and maintaining various types of roofing systems. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel.
  • Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Clean and maintain equipment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, requiring physical stamina and hand-eye coordination. Overtime may be required, and the candidate must be able to work under pressure.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and dangerous environments.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various locations, including commercial, institutional, and residential settings.
