Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at REXDALE MEDICAL CLINIC. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our healthcare professionals and patients.
Key Responsibilities- Interview Patients: Conduct thorough interviews with patients to obtain accurate case histories and medical information.
- Schedule Appointments: Coordinate and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Complete Insurance Forms: Accurately complete insurance and claim forms to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Maintain Filing System: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and filing systems.
- Order Supplies: Procure and manage office supplies and inventory to ensure efficient operations.
- Establish Office Procedures: Develop and implement effective office procedures and routines to enhance patient care and staff productivity.
- Enter Medical Reports: Accurately enter and format medical reports and correspondence for review and approval.
- Initiate Confidential Files: Establish and maintain confidential medical files and records with discretion and professionalism.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a medical office setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
This is a permanent, part-time position (30 hours per week) with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced medical office environment and must be able to work effectively in a team setting.
