Job Summary:
Specialized Desanders Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Computer Systems Engineer in Training to join our Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the development and testing of new products, as well as the maintenance and improvement of current products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, improve, and maintain PLC programming (Horner) and data hosting and management systems.
- Assist the Engineering team with development, shop, and field testing of new products.
- Utilize shop and field testing knowledge to assist with programming.
- Visit field sites and gather data from field testing of products.
- Review product data to determine sand rates and volumes with higher accuracy.
Requirements:
- Graduate Engineer from an Accredited University in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
- Preference given to Electrical Engineering knowledge.
- General knowledge of oilfield equipment PLCs, pressure, temperature, loadcells, level sensors, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as advanced computer skills (MS Office products, especially MS Excel).
- Customer service focus and attitude, with good time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and current driving record.
- Passport (must possess or be willing to obtain).
- Willingness to travel to client field sites and buildings.
