Head Cashier Job Description

IGA is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Head Cashier to join our team.

As a Head Cashier, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Managing the cash handling and point of sale systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leading and motivating a team of cashiers to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assisting with inventory management and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a cash handling role.
