We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our Mechanical Engineering division in Ottawa. The successful candidate will have a broad focus encompassing business development, client management, project delivery, project management, and leadership.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Leadership: Act as an Associate for Mechanical Engineering, managing and mentoring staff, and driving business development initiatives.
  • Business Development: Nurture strong client relationships, support sales efforts, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Problem Solving and Project Planning: Assist in determining the scope and fees for proposed engineering services, and contribute to strategic planning and operations discussions.

**Requirements:**

  • A Professional Engineer with registration in Ontario, 7+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, and some leadership experience.
  • Experience managing a team, capable with business development, and solid knowledge of mechanical and/or plumbing requirements per building codes and energy codes.
  • Strong communication skills, excellent client and project management skills, and strong leadership skills.
