Senior Systems Analyst Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst Lead to join our team at TECO Energy Inc. This is a key role that will lead complex software development projects, integrate applications with complex interfaces, and provide 24/7 primary and/or secondary support for critical applications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex software development projects, collaborating with Business Systems Analysts and/or Business Partners to develop software specifications.
- Lead the selection and implementation of software packages, driving substantial interaction with vendor resources.
- Integrate applications with complex interfaces based on specifications provided.
- Provide 24/7 primary and/or secondary support for critical applications, coordinating maintenance activities and managing release schedules.
- Support the request and analysis phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), producing required documentation and estimates.
- Execute the design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC, managing and overseeing junior staff in the production of deliverables.
- Participate on Application Development and Support teams, and project teams under the direction of their manager or project managers.
- Develop and drive standard practices within their team, mentoring and directing junior staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline.
- One or more professional certifications in specific job-related disciplines.
- Ten years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
- Expert knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop project plans for small projects and partner with Project Managers to develop project plans for large projects.
- Knowledge of development tools and technologies in support of the Information Technology Architecture.
- Expert with the Microsoft Office suite.
