Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at S & S GORAYA LTD. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS, and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience for clients.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as maintain accurate documentation for inspections and maintenance.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping and handling procedures.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess an AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with accident or incident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trans-border documentation.
  • Communication Systems: Proficient in operating GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Transportation Experience: Possess experience in local, long-haul, national, provincial/territorial, and short-haul transportation.

As a Truck Driver with S & S GORAYA LTD., you will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. You will be responsible for working independently, with minimal supervision, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
