About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Red Star Homes Ltd. as a Construction Helper. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as lumber, tools, and equipment, from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Cleaning and Maintaining Equipment: Clean and lubricate cranes, scaffolding, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Pouring Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assisting in Demolition: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Directing Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Work Environment

As a Construction Helper, you will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, noise, and dust. You will also work at heights and in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and work hard is essential.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and maintain attention to detail.
