Job Title: Housekeeper

Makau Family is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Household Chores: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies.
  • Other Duties: Wash windows, walls and ceilings, assist with meal preparation and serving.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Private residence, urban area, employer's home.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling.
