Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Qualicum Manor. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, updating care plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education to patients and their families on healthcare management and preventive measures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation
Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse in good standing
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining a compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • BLS certification

Compensation

Hourly rate: $45

Per diem rate: $30

Overtime rate: 1.5 times regular rate, doubling after 12 hours on a regular shift

Travel and accommodation expenses are covered.
