Job OverviewThe Hangar Operations Manager reports to the Director of Maintenance and is responsible for the success of the heavy maintenance and line maintenance segments within the assigned Hangar(s). The incumbent provides leadership and sets the tone and pace for overall hangar and project operations.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and maintain KF Safety policies to the highest standards
- Ensure Hangar Maintenance Operations are carried out in compliance with KFAERO Maintenance Policy Manual and Maintenance Control Manual
- Provide a high level of customer service ensuring customers concerns are actioned in a timely manner
- Work with Business Development on manhour estimates and span times
- Monitor project progress and escalate any concerns immediately
- Excellent leadership & collaboration skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Basic understanding of financial principles, forecasting and budgeting
