Job Title: Multimedia Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Designer to join our team at Fields of Harvest Church (FOHC). As a Multimedia Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective visual communications materials for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce high-quality illustrations and graphics for various media platforms.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations to meet their communications needs.
  • Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations, and adapt existing illustrations as needed.
  • Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians, and co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials.
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials.
  • Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
  • Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives, and prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements.
  • Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, MS Office, Social Media, WordPress, HTML, XHTML, Adobe Photoshop, MS Windows, MS PowerPoint, and MAC.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and co-ordinate sub-contracting.
Working Conditions:
  • 30 hours per week.
