We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Technologist to join our team in Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton. This position involves a broad range of consulting tasks, including designing HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems under the supervision of an engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design complex piping systems using AutoCAD and Revit, including air distribution calculations, duct sizing, refrigerant piping, chilled water piping, and diffusers/grill sizing.
  • Prepare detailed specifications and bills of quantities for construction projects.
  • Conduct site surveys and construction follow-ups to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tecnologist Degree and Certification in Mechanical or Industrial design and drafting.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in piping and mechanical building design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, specifically in 3D modeling.
  • Experience with Autodesk Plant 3D or Autodesk Navisworks is an asset.
  • Process design knowledge and experience with sanitary process piping in the food and beverage industry are valuable assets.
