Liquor Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team at 97 Street Liquor Store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, with experience in supervising sales teams and managing inventory.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's finances
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels
- Establish work schedules and ensure the store is running efficiently
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including sales and customer service
- Plan and prepare work schedules to meet the needs of the store
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
- Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week
- English language proficiency
- Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service
- Work under pressure to meet sales targets and manage inventory
- Standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
