We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Process Engineer to join our team at Gyproc. As a Junior Process Engineer, you will play a key role in standardizing and documenting processes throughout our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in process improvement teams to analyze variations and identify losses.
- Develop and maintain process flow charts for manufacturing activities.
- Design and implement new process systems, revise existing processes, and develop projects that contribute to plant profitability.
- Create work instructions for manufacturing activities.
- Monitor program cost activity to achieve budget targets.
- Identify and analyze inefficiencies in the manufacturing process to ensure early detection and resolution.
- Assess processes for effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Monitor modifications and upgrades, and troubleshoot existing processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
- Engineering degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a process engineer in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience of taking projects through launch and subsequent production.
- Lean Manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Proven ability to create and execute project plans that achieve targets.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to produce succinct reports and presentations.
- Strong leadership abilities and organizational skills.
- Quality Control background and problem-solving skills.
- Sound technical background and logical reasoning.
- Interest in developing technical skills through training.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and task prioritization skills.
- Conviction to improve personally and support continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
