At Mr. Mass Food Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and food service areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that food is prepared and served on time.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring that stock is always available.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Conduct regular inventory checks and estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.
  • Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and service, ensuring that customers receive an excellent dining experience.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that we operate within our financial means.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare Food Order Summaries for Chef: Compile and present food order summaries to the chef, ensuring that they have the information they need to manage kitchen operations effectively.
  • Supervise and Check Delivery of Food Trolleys: Oversee the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that they are delivered to the correct locations and that food is served at the right temperature.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules that meet the needs of the business, ensuring that staff are rostered to work at times that meet customer demand.
