About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Angele's Framing Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools and ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces and in dusty environments, while maintaining a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
Work Environment

Our team works on various construction projects, including residential and commercial renovations, and we require our Framing Carpenter to be flexible and adaptable to different work settings and locations.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in framing and carpentry.
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required, but a strong understanding of building codes and safety protocols is essential.
  • Excellent physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces and in dusty environments.
