About the Role:

TRENDWEST DRILLING LTD is seeking an Electronics Systems Designer to join our team. As an Electronics Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and electronic systems and equipment. You will also supervise and inspect the installation and operation of these systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance
  • Conduct micro or nanodevices simulations, characterization, process modeling and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Team player with initiative

Work Environment:

  • Various locations
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
