We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management Inc. as a Caregiver and Patient Care Specialist.
About the Role
- As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.
- You will be responsible for observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions.
- Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Ensures adherence to infection control practices and maintains a clean and safe environment.
- Assesses resident health status, including recognizing deviations from mental health baseline and differentiating between dementia and delirium.
Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized Practical Nursing program.
- Active registration with the BCCNM as an LPN.
- Occupational First Aide Level 1 certification.
- Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Effective communication skills in English.
