About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud IT Audit professional to join our team as a Vice President. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the execution of our cloud audit strategy, maintaining effective partnerships with senior leaders in the IT organization, and supporting the annual audit planning and development process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and test internal controls, applying cloud, cyber security, logical access management, and relevant related audit skills.
  • Support the execution of a risk-focused audit plan, reviewing and approving audit work products to ensure thorough and effective coverage.
  • Support the career development of team members through proactive coaching and mentoring.
  • Influence effective and sustainable improvements to processes and controls through insights gained based on risk and control expertise.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills in interactions with internal and external stakeholders, including executive management and regulators.
  • Facilitate the development of cloud audit practices and their continuous improvement.
  • Help drive consistent risk assessment and audit coverage approach of cloud controls across business units and corporate functions.
  • Draft, review, finalize, and communicate audit deliverables, including audit findings, memos, and audit reports to senior and executive management.
  • Participate as a non-voting member of various steering committees and management working groups, promoting balanced discussions and encouraging challenge and debate.
  • Prepare relevant risk and audit reporting to key stakeholders, including executive management and governance committees.
  • Provide insight on the evolving public cloud regulatory environment and interact with regulators.
  • Stay abreast of industry and technical matters, efficiently and effectively applying applicable new developments in audit projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting, IT audit, consulting, or business process engineering, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in information systems, computer science, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree in information technology, cyber security, or systems engineering.
  • One or more industry-recognized certifications, such as CCSP, CISSP, AWS cloud practitioner, Azure Administrator, SANS GPCS, SANS GCPN, etc., and the willingness to continue to learn and grow.
  • Proficient or knowledgeable in evaluating and testing internal controls and applying a risk-based audit approach.
  • Strong expertise or experience auditing or assessing risk in technology areas.
