Job Title: Wound Care Nurse

RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive wound assessments, developing and implementing plans of care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough wound assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on wound care and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care research and best practices to ensure evidence-based care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Completed the University of Toronto International Interprofessional Wound Care Course or equivalent.
  • Current membership with Registered Nurses Association of Ontario and Wounds Canada.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
