About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Associated Engineering as a Mechanical Energy Engineer, where you will play a key role in delivering innovative energy solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement feasibility studies and detailed designs of renewable and high-performance energy technologies, including geoexchange, biomass, waste heat recovery, CHP, and district heating/cooling plants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet client needs and expectations.
- Conduct site assessments and provide recommendations for energy-efficient solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in energy engineering.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in mechanical or integrated engineering from an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
- 3+ years of experience in relevant mechanical engineering positions.
- Registered or eligible for registration as E.I.T. or P.Eng. with PEO.
- Experience with HVAC systems, low carbon or district energy systems, and energy-efficient technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
