Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring Childcare Assistant to join our team at Farzan - Private Household. As a Childcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our clients' children in the comfort of their own home.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to the highest standards.
  • Discipline children according to the parents' requested methods, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
  • Organize engaging activities, such as games and outings, to stimulate the children's minds and creativity.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Supervise and care for the children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work closely with the parents to understand their needs and preferences, providing exceptional care and support.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform light housekeeping and childcare duties.
Work Setting

Work in the employer's/client's home, providing a comfortable and familiar environment for the children.

Language

English is the primary language spoken in this role.

Hours

40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate the family's needs.
