Outside Sales Representative
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Convoy Supply. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies
- Provide exceptional customer service, including timely project quotations, project file maintenance, and quotation follow-up
- Conduct regular job site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with suppliers to stay informed about products and services
- Contribute to team efforts by achieving sales targets and maintaining a high level of professionalism
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the construction industry
- Ability to read and understand construction specifications, drawings, and technical data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with customers and schedule appointments
- Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
- Able to work flexible hours and travel, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer knowledge, including Customer Relationship Management databases, Microsoft Office, and Excel
