Job Summary:

The Automotive Parts Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on automotive parts and accessories, while maintaining a high level of product knowledge and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Source and order automotive parts through authorized suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory management.
  • Process returns, warranties, and castings as required, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Recommend related products to customers, ensuring they leave with everything they need to complete their project.
  • Test and fill batteries, test starters and alternators, maintaining a high level of technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Ensure that retail tasks are executed efficiently, including stocking, labeling, facing, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Perform regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • No prior experience is required - we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Approachable and friendly demeanor, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry items, use a ladder, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
