Senior Financial Analyst, Capital Markets Accounting

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Capital Markets Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and timeliness of financial reporting for our Capital Markets business units.
Key Responsibilities- Drive accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting inputs to various groups, providing accounts attestation and ensuring balance sheet accounts are substantiated.
- Liaise with Finance, Front Office, and other Capital Markets stakeholders to support agile accounting processes and controls.
- Maintain end-to-end process maps and detailed task manuals in accordance with best practices, regulatory requirements, SOX, and Internal Controls.
- Certified professional with current accreditation and good standing in CPA, or working towards CPA designation. CFA designation is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Financial Reporting requirements for Financial Instruments, including interest rate products, customized bonds, money markets, cross currency products, equity-linked derivatives, swaps, forwards, options, futures, and other vanilla and non-standard derivative transactions.
- Experience in Capital Markets accounting, with a focus on enhancement of financial controls across multiple groups.
- Excellent analytical thinking skills, sound judgment, and ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.
