About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Golf Services Agent to join our team at Silvertip Resort in Canmore, AB. As a key member of our Golf Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and exceptional golfing experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with unloading golf clubs from vehicles and provide information on rental clubs.
  • Direct guests to the golf shop, practice facilities, and restaurant outlets.
  • Ensure golf carts are in pristine condition and ready for guests.
  • Load golf clubs or rentals onto golf carts and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all Golf Services work areas and equipment.
  • Monitor range operations and maintain the practice facility throughout the day.
  • Inform guests of the Silvertip Golf App and ensure they understand golf cart operation.
  • Ensure guests meet dress code requirements and maintain radio contact with the Golf Shop, Starters, Ambassadors, and fellow Golf Services Attendants.
  • Ensure golfers are ready for their tee time and directed to the first tee in a timely manner.
  • Listen to guests' feedback and involve a Manager as necessary.
  • Maintain rental clubs and ensure they are properly cleaned and accounted for before and after every round.
  • Inspect golf carts for damage and document any issues.
  • Clean, stock, park, and charge golf carts.
  • Pick, clean, and store range balls as necessary.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures.
  • Attend meetings and training courses as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum age 16 years old
  • High school diploma or GED an asset
  • Lift up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly
  • Capable of operating machinery and equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including some split shifts, early mornings, and late evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment within your department
  • Follow all Health and Safety procedures
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate of $17.00 per hour
  • Bi-weekly tip-out opportunities
  • Seasonal employment through October
