About the OpportunityThe ideal candidate will have a strong passion for building a high-performing team that aligns with our values. You will be responsible for:
- Providing expertise to ensure optimal patient care and coaching teams in wellness plans, preventative care, and overall patient care.
- Reviewing and enhancing protocols as required to meet regulatory requirements.
- Fostering a culture of teamwork and exceptional client service.
- Partnering with hospital leadership to assess financial performance and operations, addressing areas for improvement and celebrating achievements regularly.
- Engaging in recruiting efforts for qualified Veterinarians through externships, referrals, career fairs, and DVM student summer program hires.
- Working with leadership to build and lead a high-performing team of veterinarians and technologists/technicians, employing effective leadership and coaching practices.
- Contribute to performance evaluations and lead coaching sessions for all team members, emphasizing client education on wellness plans and preventive care.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual who:
- Dedicates to promoting team-based medicine practices.
- Has exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, pet parents, and community.
- Has exceptional coaching and mentoring capabilities for their medical and support team.
- Has a passion for developing personally and professionally, with prior experience leading medical teams an asset but not required.
