We are seeking a reliable and organized Bus Driver to join our team at DBA Williams Lake Transit. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and ensuring their comfort during their journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate buses to transport passengers safely and efficiently
  • Provide passengers with information on fares, schedules, and stops
  • Collect fares and record transactions accurately
  • Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures
  • Ensure the safety of children when boarding and leaving buses and crossing streets while the bus is stopped
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
  • Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than 24 passengers)
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Driver's abstract
Working Conditions
  • 8 to 8.5 hours bi-weekly
  • Shift or on-call work
  • English language
