Job Title: Bricklayer

AV EXTERIOR LTD is seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing and installing masonry units, including bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles to provide a solid foundation for buildings.
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to create a veneer facing.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
  • Read blueprints and calculate materials required for each project.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys.
Work Environment:

As a Bricklayer, you will work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
