Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Montessori Froebel Development Centre INC. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development Planning: Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, promoting their overall development.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, tell stories, teach songs, and take children on outings to local points of interest, fostering a love for learning and exploration.
  • Health and Safety: Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the well-being of children at all times.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues and community service providers to provide comprehensive support to children and their families.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3) and Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
