About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant at Lorina Yip. As a key member of our household team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, reliability.
Work Environment

This is a non-smoking environment. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.

Hours

30 hours per week.
