About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Choi's Dental Studio. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a crucial role in the creation of high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Dental Models: Prepare plaster models and moulds for dental prosthetics and appliances.
  • Casting and Finishing: Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases, and finish metal frameworks of dentures.
  • Supply Management: Maintain and order supplies to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
  • Wax Work: Mould wax over dentures set-up and prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays.
  • Packing and Polishing: Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures, and polish and buff dentures.
  • Orthodontic Band Fabrication: Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and flexibility. You will work as part of a team to create high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.
