We seek an accomplished scholar-practitioner for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in Music. Reporting to the Dean of Arts and Science, the successful candidate will develop and execute a robust Music program vision while maintaining individual teaching, committee, and research loads.

Duties
  1. Preparation and delivery of Music courses, focusing on Music Theory sequence and Aural Skills.
  2. Maintenance of ongoing research, publication, and/or professional practice.
  3. Active participation in departmental and university-level committees.
  4. Academic advising and mentorship for students participating in Ambrose performances and work-integrated learning opportunities.
  5. Contribution to student recruitment, curriculum development, and other department initiatives.

Candidates should hold a PhD in Music Theory or Composition, Doctor of Musical Arts, or equivalent, with evidence of successful post-secondary teaching and research experience.
