Job Title: Transit Driver

CB Canada is seeking a reliable and skilled Transit Driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a transit vehicle on assigned routes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of passengers
  • Manage passenger behavior, resolving issues promptly and effectively
  • Drive defensively and adapt to various road and traffic conditions
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and concerns
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or 2 driver's license with Air Brake endorsement
  • Driver's abstract with no more than 3 demerit points
  • Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol screening
  • Clear criminal record
  • Excellent driving skills and habits, with ability to read maps and navigate
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently
Working Conditions:

This position requires working shifts, including split shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays as necessary. A good knowledge of the local area is an asset.
