About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Electrical Designer to join our team at MCW Group of Companies. As an Electrical Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of electrical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for various projects, including lighting, heating, and cooling systems
  • Collaborate with project leads and design teams to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
  • Prepare layouts, conceptual designs, and calculations for electrical systems
  • Support documentation process for projects, including technical specifications, tender documents, and project calculations
  • Interface with other design disciplines and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
  • Electrical Engineering Degree or Certified Electrical Technologist Diploma
  • 4+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering Consulting
  • Knowledge and experience with ETAP (Power Studies) and AutoCAD/Revit
  • Excellent organizational, computer, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines
