Job Title: Master Plumber

Location: University of Prince Edward Island

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Plumber to join our team at the University of Prince Edward Island. As a Master Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on campus.

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.

• Plumber Trade Certification.
• 5+ years of experience in plumbing.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
