About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist - CNC Specialist to join our team at Symmetric Machining Ltd. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production and meeting customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to set up and operate CNC machines.
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to achieve precise tolerances.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with CNC machines.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and wear steel-toed safety boots.
