Project Control Specialist

Job Summary:
Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Project Control Specialist to join our Critical Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in project controls, scheduling, and earned value management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the cost control portion of the Parsons Integrated Control System (PICS) to provide project management with the necessary tools for project cost control.
- Implement and maintain the Planning/Scheduling portion of PICS, understanding and applying engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.
- Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current status against an established baseline schedule, assessing the impact of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.
- Provide computer input and perform analytical review of reports generated, accumulating and accessing historical data for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
- May provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to others in the resolution of project control problems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field) as well as 3+ years of related work experience, or equivalent work experience required.
- Working knowledge of various software used in the Project Controls Department, such as Excel, Primavera, and Document and Materials Controls System (DMCS).
