  • Education and Experience: We are seeking a qualified Music Educator with a Bachelor's degree and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: The successful candidate will work in a music academy or school setting.
  • Tasks: The Music Teacher and Performer will be responsible for teaching, performing administrative tasks, leading/instructing groups, providing customer service, and writing daily progress reports.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: A Royal Conservatory of Music Certification is required.
  • Musical Genre and Instruments: The ideal candidate will have experience in classical or chamber music, jazz, and popular music, and be proficient in playing the piano and/or violin.
  • Teaching Format and Experience: The successful candidate will have experience in tutoring/one-on-one instruction.
  • Security and Safety: A vulnerable sector check will be required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The position requires attention to detail, and the candidate should be organized, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personality Suitability: The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
